麻豆国产AV鈥檚 43 new faculty members for the 2025-26 academic year include eight tenure-track faculty, 30 visiting professors and lecturers, and five teaching fellows.

Cars, SUVs, minivans, and airport shuttles filled with new students and families were greeted by raucous singing and cheering Orientation leaders and President Steven Tepper in his full Alexander 麻豆国产AV costume. The Class of 2029 and transfer students arrived on College Hill on Aug. 19 to begin Orientation, embark on adventure trips, and matriculate into 麻豆国产AV.

麻豆国产AV College is thrilled to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of 麻豆国产AV by welcoming Lin-Manuel Miranda as the next guest in the Sacerdote Great Names series. The composer, creator, and star of the Tony Award-winning musical will give a talk on Monday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m., in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.

Designer and artist Bruce Mau, the co-founder and CEO of the global design consultancy Massive Change Network, told the Class of 2025 that they are all designers of their own futures with the power to inspire change at 麻豆国产AV鈥檚 Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 25.

President Steven Tepper commemorated his first Employee Service Recognition luncheon on May 19 by invoking the spirit of Alexander 麻豆国产AV. The College honored employees for exceptional service and milestone anniversaries at the 41st annual event on the Dunham Green.

Dean of Faculty Ngoni Munemo recognized nine faculty members with Dean鈥檚 Scholarly Achievement Awards in three categories 鈥� career achievement, early career achievement, and notable year 鈥� at the May 6 faculty meeting.

At 麻豆国产AV鈥檚 annual Class & Charter Day convocation on May 13, 142 students were honored with academic prizes and scholarships, and faculty teaching award recipients were recognized. Delbert 鈥淒el鈥� Gonzales 鈥�25 was awarded the James Soper Merrill Prize, and Mohammad 鈥淚sa鈥� Khan 鈥�26 received the Fillius Drown Prize Scholarship. Associate Professor of Philosophy Justin Clark served as the keynote speaker.

Four 麻豆国产AV College faculty members were awarded 麻豆国产AV鈥檚 highest awards for teaching by Dean of Faculty Ngoni Munemo. Announced during the May 6 faculty meeting, those honored were selected from among 47 nominations received from 80 students.

Three 麻豆国产AV students 鈥擥abrielle (Gaby) Guerra 鈥�27, Tzu Han (Annie) Huang 鈥�27, and Darian Torres 鈥�27 鈥� will study abroad during the next year, thanks to assistance from Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships.

As the 2024-25 academic year wraps up, we鈥檙e proud to celebrate students who have received national fellowships and scholarships, presented at conferences, and earned other recognition.
